If you wish to make your own, you'll need Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, or some other image editing program. Whatever you use, you'll need to be able to make your title graphic transparent. Create a blank image large enough to accommodate your title. Set your background color to #DBD7AF. This is so it blends in perfectly with the background, for that clean, professional look. Choose the Lumos font, anti-aliased, and set the color to #524A29. I set the font size to 36 pt, but you may need to go larger or smaller. Once you're happy with your title, crop the image as tight as possible to the letters without chopping any of them off. Set the background transparency to the background color and save as title.gif. You may need to move the title slightly if it's larger or smaller than my original 256 x 47 pixels in size. Open up header.tpl in Notepad or other text editor. Look for my note about the header graphic around line 10. Right below that should be a line like this: The part where it says "top:70px" is what you need. If your title is shorter than my 47 pixels, you'll need to make that number a bit larger. If your title is taller than 47 pixels, you'll need to decrease the number. Try to keep the log-in box in the black area. Enjoy! ------------------------------------------ How to make custom buttons ------------------------------------------ I have included a file called header.psd, which is the file you need in order to make your own custom menu headers. (If it doesn't work for you, I have other versions available.) Open this up in the image editor of your choice and choose either Lumos or Dali, whichever looks the best for you. I used Dali primarily for the Random stories header, to make the words "of the" fit properly. Set the font color the black and have fun creating! ^_^ Save the header as a .gif or .jpg/jpeg image and upload to your server.
